MILLAMAC WEBSITE
Thank-you for coming to see the new Millamac website. My very special thanks to Laurence Lewis for his efforts in upgrading and improving the site and for making it easier for me to "operate".
The biggest change for Millamac this year is that QuiltEssentials are now distributing my retail patterns. QuiltEssentials is a lovely patchwork and quilting shop just outside Brisbane. They have a lovely selection of patterns and fabrics as well as classes and a mail order service. Claudia, Deb and Kim are happy to make kits to go with Millamac patterns and they will help you with any other enquiries
Leading up to Christmas, I have done several classes for children (and either Mum or Grandma) making pictures which are stapled onto canvasses and then decorated with "real" battery operated christmas lights!! The classes have been lots of fun and the looks on those little faces when their picture "lights" up is priceless. For Brisbane-based people you can ring Quiltessentials on 3264 6444 to book into upcoming classes. This cheeky elf is one of three designs. Patterns and kits (including the lights) are available. Please ring QuiltEssentials on 3264 6444.
QuiltEssentials also have one of my designs "Best Friends" as a Block of the Month. Running over 12 months it features some lovely new "girly" fabrics and would suit "girls" of all ages. There are three "surprise" items throughout the year that are worth waiting for.
Many thanks to all of those who have supported me over the years...without your support Millamac would be long gone.
I would like to make a special mention of all those Queenslanders who have been affected by the terrible storms we have had over the past few weeks...so much damage...so many people have lost everything...I hope that you are able to put the pieces back soon and get your lives back
